  33. Your description of the problem is a bit vague!  As a user, you normally
  34. shouldn't see PROGDIR:.  Each individual program may use PROGDIR: to reach the
  35. directory that its own executable is in.  For instance when you type
  36. "Dir PROGDIR:" then Dir will list the contents of C: (because that's where the
  37. Dir program is).

  39. Could you be more specific, eg. tell us which programs have problems with it,
  40. and what kind of problems they are?

  42. Finally, I believe PROGDIR: is set up by the ROM code so the contents of your
  43. boot disk shouldn't really matter.  Try removing that assign from your
  44. user-startup, rebooting, and just typing "Dir PROGDIR:".
