- Your description of the problem is a bit vague! As a user, you normally
- shouldn't see PROGDIR:. Each individual program may use PROGDIR: to reach the
- directory that its own executable is in. For instance when you type
- "Dir PROGDIR:" then Dir will list the contents of C: (because that's where the
- Dir program is).

- Could you be more specific, eg. tell us which programs have problems with it,
- and what kind of problems they are?

- Finally, I believe PROGDIR: is set up by the ROM code so the contents of your
- boot disk shouldn't really matter. Try removing that assign from your
- user-startup, rebooting, and just typing "Dir PROGDIR:".
